The founders, administrators, faculty, and support staff of Savannah University (SU) strongly believe that education is the foundation of a progressive nation and that the Somali nation has the right to Higher Education of international standards.

We are convinced that education and character matter greatly for our future; through a system of modern, pertinent, and advanced education and by means of comprehensively developed characters, the Somali nation can successfully fight poverty and underdevelopment, therefore achieving rehabilitation and progress.

The establishment of SU will be fully justified when our wholehearted dedication, total commitment, and inspirational learning experience bring forth new generations of Somali fresh graduates able to deliver international standards quality in the diverse sectors of the Somali economy and society.
